Just 15 minutes from the beaches of Vendée, nestled in a 10-hectare clearing, La Folie Finfarine offers an immersive experience into the fascinating world of bees and their essential role in our ecosystem. Discovery trails allow visitors to learn more about local biodiversity. Workshops for children are also available.
A Rich Programme of Activities
During school holidays, workshops allow both young and old to learn about beekeeping. Observe the opening of a hive, watch honey being made, and discover how to craft candles from beeswax. It's also an opportunity for children to engage in hands-on activities about bees and other small creatures.
Before leaving, make a stop at the honey house shop, where you can purchase local products directly from the beekeepers. A wide selection of items is available: honey, propolis, royal jelly, flower pollen, mead, gingerbread, and even organic honey sweets.
